Alison is a Chartered Marketer, and her role at Cal Partners involves day-to-day working with clients, typically managing social media accounts, and creating website content and blogs.
She has a First Class Honours degree in Biomedical Science (Queen's University Belfast), a Master of Science in Forensic Science (University of Strathclyde) and spent 10 years as a forensic biology consultant before making the change to various marketing, office management and accounts roles in 2008. She gained a Distinction in the CIM Certificate in Professional Marketing in 2017, became a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM) in 2018 and a Chartered Marketer in 2020.
Alison’s background enables her to communicate effectively at all levels. She excels at writing in a clear, concise style, suitable for a professional audience. Other key skills include implementing successful marketing strategies that offer real value for money and integrating social media into more traditional marketing activities. Alison is approachable, logical, thorough and practical.
Alison enjoys spending time with family and friends in the North East and Northern Ireland. She is a keen motorcyclist, hillwalker and crafter.
