The best part about working at Cal is the supportive environment and as a busy working mum, I can now enjoy the flexibility to maximise family time when it is required. It’s great to have my CIM membership and Chartered status included as part of my ongoing training which means I can continue to develop my skills and not have to worry about the expense.

With so many clients, projects and Cal’s growth trajectory, no two days are the same and it’s very exciting to be part of a company to see how far we have come and where we are heading. We have a fantastic team who share the same values… we work hard to provide excellent service and results for our clients whilst having fun at the same time!

I joined Cal Partners in 2018, after working in an in-house marketing role for over 10 years. Having never worked in an ‘agency’, I wasn’t sure what that would entail, but we are a small team, we work directly with our clients, and our day-to-day tasks are varied. I enjoy that and am constantly learning. Everyone is willing and able to help each other out, as and when required, which means we can remain agile and responsive to our clients. I feel very well supported in my role and have made great friends, as well as colleagues.

The business has been built and developed in direct response to what clients have been looking for - access to a team of experienced, practical, pragmatic and industry specific marketers. At its core, is each of our expertise, as a demonstration of this, each of us is either a CIM Chartered Marketer or is on the Chartered pathway. We enjoy what we do and have built the business for ourselves as well as our clients, making it a perfect collaboration for both.

One of the best parts about working for Cal Partners is that, for our clients, we’re like an extension of their existing team rather than ‘just another agency’. Having worked in-house for professional services firms in the past, it feels like the best of both worlds: we’ve got a range of clients to work with so that work is varied, but we’re also really embedded with each client, and we genuinely understand their businesses, so we really feel like part of their team.

We’ve got a really great culture within the Cal team too, despite not always working in the same place. There’s no such thing as a stupid question, we’re all open to sharing ideas and experiences to tackle challenges, and when we do get together (for work or socially) it’s always a right laugh!
